I did FNAC procedure yesterday afternoon. He is a 75 year old man, history of papillary carcinoma of thyroid operated in 2005 in HKL. He came in with a lump at the left cervical region. The clinician thought it could originated from a lung metastasis. When I examine him, there was a firm, fixed mass at the left posterior cervical region measuring 4x3cm. The procedure went smoothly. There was minor bleeding which was stopped after some pressure applied. Then I asked him,
"Pakcik, ada rasa sakit ke?"
To which he answered,
"Tak.."
"Aik...sikit pun tak rasa ke?"
He told me...
"Tak sakit. Hebat dr.."
Tu lah yang membuatkan aku rasa macam nak senyum sengih dari telinga ke telinga....
